Check out this week’s top 10!
1. Burger Bar’s Burger No. 3, Truffle Fries, and Salted Caramel Milkshake
I dragged Tin to Burger Bar last week (she loves burgers) and got myself the “good stuff”: Burger No. 3, Truffle Fries, and a Salted Caramel Milkshake. (I just had a salad the last time. Haha feeling diet!) Anyway. Despite the really crumbly beef patty, Burger No. 3 was actually pretty good. I liked the buttered bread buns most especially — went great with their secret sauce. Their truffle fries and salted caramel milkshake, meanwhile, are must-tries. They’re one of the best of their kind!
2. Italliani’s Sicilian Salad and Tropicale Pizza
I somehow found myself in Italliani’s last week, too, ordering Sicilian Salad and Tropicale Pizza. I always get these two (not necessarily together), because, well, their Sicilian Salad is one of my go-to salads, plus I’ve always been big on pineapples and ham on my pizza. Great combo these two make!
3. Nestle’s Top-Ups Yogurt
I had Nestle’s Yogurt Top Ups for dessert one day. It’s essentially just strawberry yogurt with mallows and Kit Kat bites as toppings. While I enjoyed it for the most part, I thought the Kit Kat-strawberry combo was quite odd.
4. Classic Confections Iced Cookie
Presenting one of the best iced cookies in Manila: Classic Confections’! They make them in the cutest designs, too!
5. The Face Shop’s Make Me Star Waterproof Gel Eyeliner
Been shopping mostly for make-up nowadays, and the Face Shop’s Make Me Star (let’s pretend the product name makes sense) Waterproof Gel Liner was one of my purchases. It’s quite possibly the longest lasting eye liner I have in my make-up kit. You can apply just 1-2 coats and expect the color to last for hours!
I would highly recommend this for when you want to add a bit of sparkle to a bare face (i.e. “no make-up” make-up, which is what I do on a daily basis, hehe). This liner is available in several colors. Got myself the green one though ’cause I was feeling adventurous. Haha!
6. Digital Traincase Make-Up Boutique & Studio
Call me a late bloomer, but I’ve only very recently discovered the wonders of online shopping. Digital Traincase Make-Up Boutique & Studio was my pick this week. (I might just blog about my purchases soon!) Given their wide selection of make-up and nail polish, I spent a while on the website, trying to narrow down my purchases to fit my budget. The great thing about Digital Traincase is that they are true to their word. They deliver the goods to your doorstep within three business days. (Btw, they’re on sale!)
7. The Lumineers’ Stubborn Love Music Video
I love this song, and I love its video (it just came out this week) just as much.
8. Jacobo <3
A lot of friends on Facebook have been posting this video in time for Valentine’s Day. Isn’t Jacobo the most adorable little boy ever?
9. Paolo-Nikki Bugia Wedding Video
It’s no secret that I enjoy watching wedding videos when I feel like it. Paolo Bugia (of PBA fame) recently got married and had Jason Magbanua team up with For You Are Mine for his wedding video. It’s an unconventional wedding video, but still full of love, happy tears, happiness… you get the picture. Go see for yourself here.
10. Silver Linings Playbook
An A+ movie that you must see. Jennifer Lawrence and my hubby Bradley Cooper were amazing in this one.
That’s it for this week!
