Check out this week’s top 10!
1. Mentos Rainbow Mystery
Here’s this week’s candy find: Mentos’ Rainbow Mystery. The point of which I don’t really understand seeing that there are icons on the wrapper to tell you which flavor you are getting.
2. Kenny Rogers’ Frozen Yogurt
A really, really bland yogurt that I regret buying. And it sucks more that I got the large cup (Php55). Damn it.
3. Grams Diner’s Riddles from the Griddle
Now, this dish made my tummy really happy! Went back to Grams for brunch one day, hoping to just leave with my favorite milkshake. But I spotted this dish on the menu and was intrigued by it so to order it was the logical route to take. I’m so glad I did — everything about this was spectacular. Plus, aren’t those mini pancakes just too cute?
4. The Face Shop’s Phytogenic Infinite Powder Foundation
I’ve no idea why I keep buying this particular powder foundation (perhaps I am lazy to try a new brand?) when it’s hardly able to spare my face from oil. I should do myself a favor and switch to a new brand the next time I’m due to change my powder.
5. Catching Fire Teaser
I couldn’t be more excited about the second installment of the Hunger Games movie franchise. This teaser… Josh Hutcherson, you are killing me! :(
6. Jennifer Lawrence at the Academy Awards
(Speaking of.) Best Actress Jennifer Lawrence’s dress was my favorite among the many gorgeous gowns at this year’s Academy Awards. I love the color and how it’s able to accentuate her curves perfectly. It’s a dress fit for a winner, which she is!
7. Zoya’s Lovely Collection
I read about this collection on the Makeup & Beauty Blog yesterday, drawn mainly by the fact that the collection is composed of pretty pastels. I was a bit disappointed though, how the colors turned out on actual nails. Neely is the only color I would wear in this collection. The others are just blah.
8. Anne Curtis’ Birthday Performance on ASAP
So Anne Curtis makes my list again this week. You see, her performance on ASAP caused a stir on grounds that her gown was a bit much for General Patronage viewing. I don’t really know how to feel about the dress (she does have the body for it, but the slit is admittedly distracting), so let’s turn to the singing instead. Discuss.
9. One Direction’s One Way Or Another
My favorite video release of the week! Hehehehe. <3
10. Fr. Dacanay at Ateneo Psyche’s The Last Lecture
(Saving the best for last.) I was too chicken to enroll in Fr. Dacanay’s class back in third year college for a number of reasons — I was semi-grade conscious (he is notorious for giving Ds), I hated the “dress code” (he was very meticulous about this), and I never prepared for class anyway (true story), among other things — so I wouldn’t be a good judge of Fr. Dacanay’s “brilliance”. This video though shows everyone (not just his students) why Fr. Dacanay is (and will always be) a pillar in Atenean education. Please do watch through the entire thing; the 30+ minutes will be worth your while. (Loved the opening prayer, too.)
That’s it for this week!
